Rachel’s fitness philosophy is simple.
Everyone needs to move well, in and out of the gym. Functional movement is at the core of every training whether it’s a prenatal client or a professional athlete. You need to move well to feel good physically and mentally.

She not only trains you to do that but helps you create your own body awareness so that you are in control of your body and not the other way around. When you start moving well and feeling good, the added bonus is your body starts to look better, more symmetrical, stronger, fit, and more toned. Rachel’s fitness journey started out as a barre teacher so she understands that many peoples fitness goals are aesthetics, wanting to look more toned and shedding pounds.

When her career moved more towards strength training, she started to work with people who wanted to build functional muscle strength. Then finally becoming pregnant while being a very in demand fitness instructor and trainer she understands the needs of prenatal and postpartum women. Rachel needed to find a way to continue to work and take care of her body. And that’s when she started diving deep into the world of fitness and rehabilitative work for pre-and post natal clients. Training with some of the top people in the field, she received certifications in prenatal yoga, and several prenatal and postpartum rehabilitative and exercise specialist training courses.

Since then Rachel has trained hundreds of women either privately or in group classes and helped them along their journey. Prenatal training is about preparing your body to deal with the demands of pregnancy, labor, delivery. Postpartum training is about healing from birth and the new physical demands of motherhood. And also rehabbing from anything that may have happened along the way including healing from diastasis recti, pelvic floor issues, such as prolapse, weakness or tightness and regaining core strength and optimal function. Whether you had a vaginal or a C-section birth, one baby or multiples, Rachel has the experience and information to guide you through it all. This is also an extremely mentally and emotionally challenging time for women and Rachel gives you the tools to take care of yourself physically so you can feel and be the best version of yourself for your child, your family and most importantly, for you.

Whether your goals are to lose weight, strengthen and tone, build muscle, or prepare for motherhood. Rachel has a plan specific to you and your needs. Let’s get started!
